Dafna Michaelson Jenet

As Director of the David Merage Foundation, Dafna advances the foundation’s vision to combat antisemitism and Jew-hatred in the United States. She previously served as President Pro Tempore of the Colorado Senate, representing Senate District 21, where she championed youth mental health, foster youth support, and access to healthcare. Dafna created Colorado’s iMatter program, which provides free therapy sessions to any school-aged child and has supported more than 17,000 young people. A nonprofit executive and co-founder of the Journey Institute, she is also an award-winning author recognized for documenting community changemakers nationwide. She played a key role in passing Colorado’s mandate for Holocaust and genocide education in high schools. Michaelson Jenet holds a B.A. from Yeshiva University and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
